The iPhone is a Viral marketing weapon, it makes for exponential growth!
When the 3G is unleashed globally - It seems that it will be on a non-exclusive basis. The device will likely generate a wave of international free hype and an impact on people that will bring in a lot of new Mac sales altogether, people will be bought on Apple's ecossystem.
- in every household, there is one maybe two computers but how many phones are there? What I'm saying is that the iPhone by being an handheld computer, more powerful than 1984's iMacs and cheaper than most MIDs and notebooks, is a case of personal power and it'll be sold maybe 4 to 5 times as many comparatively to Macs. Howver, many people who wouldn't dream of buying a Mac are dying to get their hands on an iPhone. So make that iPhone units sold will be 10x Mac units sold; - Apple will announce sooner or later - I say in WWDC - an iTablet / Newton. It'll sell like hotcakes, people will want to carry it on planes and trains, watch movies wherever they are etc.
- therefore I speculate that Apple's iPhone/iTouch business will quickly grow to be as big as the Mac business and double that in maybe one years time. I have no clue how long it will take, maybe we can have an idea after all iPhones deals are disclosed.
So, why do I say the iTouch family sales numbers will be double that of the Mac?
- Because there will be more people buying iTouches than Macs out of it being handheld and personal more accessible devices;
- Because the iTouch is going globally! I mean, how many Macs are currently sold in India?!
Meanwhile, I'm sure Steve will come up with a few even better ideas to make Apple and AAPL grow tremendously. But the dice are thrown, Apple has played the ecossystem and viral marketing game, it is already working and people are in awe as to why this company is not slowing down in the middle of a consumer contraction but actually expanding...

This is a terrible article. You don't have any support for your statements. For example, you claim that the iPhone will become unrestricted in sales, not true. iPhone will still be exclusively distributed through certain carriers in many of the countries. Also, you speculate that Apple will release an itablet, which is just rehashing the rumor sites without giving them credit. I wouldn't click on the ads on your site because it's just not good enough. Support your speculations with references, and defend your position.
